CooperFit

As an employee at Cooper, I participated in our CooperFit program -- this is a incentive program that measures your health and fitness level based on gender and age. I had a fasting blood draw, blood pressure taken, girth measurements and my BMI recorded (BMI=body mass index -- a measurement of body fat based on height and weight applying to adult men and women). The last requirement of the program is running a mile and a half or walking one mile.

Here are my results:
Blood Pressure -- 106/66
Height -- 68 in. Weight -- 121.4 lb.
Waist -- 23.5 in. Hip -- 35 in.
BMI -- 19 Ratio -- 0.66
Mile and a half run -- 9:47
VO2 Max -- 52.89

Blood work results:
Total Cholesterol -- 185 mg/dL
HDL (good cholesterol) -- 82 mg/dL
LDL (bad cholesterol) -- 86 mg\dL
Triglycerides -- 92 mg\dL
Glucose -- 83 mg\dL
Vitamin D -- 59 ng\mL

It was fun having something to train for. Last year my mile and a half run time was 10:04. With some training I improved my time, as well as my overall health and fitness. Maybe challenge a friend or your coworkers. Encourage others to get healthier with you!
